Three ways in

Who it's for

Most people ask, some build it into their own tools, and some answer. Plenty do more than one.

A young woman with curly hair in a cream hoodie, laughing at something on her phone.

Ask real people

For anyone who needs to know how something lands with people who have never seen it before. At launch, from from 30p an answer.

  • A man at a kitchen table among handmade candles and a sketchbook, reading something on his laptop with a thoughtful half-smile.

    Online sellers

Which main photo gets the click, before you list.

“Which main image would you click?”

  • Three colleagues side by side at a café table, leaning in to look at one laptop together over coffee.

    Marketers and agencies

Pre-test adverts, headlines and landing pages, for you or your clients.

“Which headline makes you want to find out more?”

  • A tidy wooden desk by a sunny window: an open notebook and pen, a mug of tea, a closed laptop and a pot plant.

    Writers and authors

Covers, titles, blurbs and opening lines, judged by readers.

“Which cover fits a cosy crime novel?”

  • A man in a navy jumper glancing at his phone in a café, a coffee beside him.

    App and game makers

Icons, store screenshots and first screens.

“Which app icon would you tap?”

  • A designer in his studio comparing two colour swatch cards side by side.

    Creators

    Thumbnails, titles and channel art.

“Which thumbnail would make you click?”

  • A woman standing at a table in a bright co-working space, thinking as she reads her laptop.

    Founders and startups

Names, homepages and pricing before you spend.

“Which name feels more trustworthy: Fernwell or Quickbox?”

  • A shop owner in an apron leaning on the counter of her bakery, checking her phone after closing.

    Small businesses

A human check on a flyer, an offer or an email.

“Does this email sound rude, or just direct?”

Build it into your tools

For products, workflows and AI agents that need a person’s judgement, with a signed receipt for each answer.

  • A developer leaning back from a desk with a laptop and monitor, pen at their lips, a dog asleep on the rug behind.

    Developers and AI builders

A human check inside your product, over REST or MCP.

“Which of these two replies sounds more natural?”

  • Hands in a cream knitted jumper typing on a laptop at a kitchen table, beside a blue-and-white mug and a bowl of fruit.

    AI agents

Your agent asks verified people before it acts.

“Would you send this email as it is?”

    Everyday people

Your honest first reaction, in spare moments.

“Which of these two labels would you pick up in a shop?”

  • A professional woman in a navy blazer and glasses reading a tablet in a book-lined office.

    Experts and professionals

Expert views are planned for later.

“As a designer, does this mark fit Larch Studio, a local architecture practice?”

Not sure where you fit?

You don’t have to pick: one account can ask and answer.

All questions, grouped by topic

Can I ask and answer with the same account?

Yes. One account can do both. You'll never be sent your own questions.

Do I need to be a business to ask?

No. Plenty of questions come from individuals: a cover letter, a sofa colour, a message to a landlord. Business askers get the same service.

Is there a minimum spend?

No. The smallest question is 5 people. During early access everything is free; later you pay per answer, from 30p an answer for a quick take plus 50p a question.

Can people outside the UK answer?

Not yet. During early access members must be 18 or over and live in the UK.

Can people outside the UK ask?

During early access asking is by invitation. Questions are answered by people in the UK, so they suit products and messages aimed at UK audiences.

What if my use isn't listed?

Tell us through the contact form. If it's a reasonable question for strangers to answer in a few minutes, it probably fits.

Can't see your situation here?

Tell us what you'd want to ask and we'll say honestly whether it fits. A person reads every message.

Start on either side.

Free during early access, whichever side you start on.
