For online sellers
Know which photo gets the click, before you list.
Show verified people in the UK your main image, listing, packaging or price and hear what they'd click, and why. We aim for first answers within about 15 minutes.
Later from 30p an answer, plus 50p a question (launch example).

Why sellers ask people first
Marketplace split tests are useful but slow: they run on live traffic, often take weeks, and you need enough visitors to learn anything. A quick check with real people tells you which version to test first, and the reasons tell you why one loses.
People answering see your photo the way a shopper does, for a second or two, with no idea who you are. A single extra sale usually covers a 20-person question once paid questions open.

Good to know before you ask
Rules that protect you
- Answers are opinions, never reviews. You can't ask people to review your product or post what they say as customer reviews or testimonials. UK law treats fake reviews as unlawful, and our terms forbid it.
- No personal data. Don't include customer names, addresses or order details in images.
- People in photos must have agreed to be shown.
Honest limits
- Today you can't choose who answers, for example only people who shop on a particular marketplace. Choosing who answers is planned.
- This is a steer before a live test, not a replacement for one. What people say they'd click and what they do click can differ.
How it works
Ask
Write your question, add an image if you need one, and choose how many people answer, from 5 to 50.
Verified people answer blind
They see your question without your name, and nobody sees anyone else’s answer first.
Get a summary and the reasons
See the split, a line of why from each person and a short summary.
Use cases for online sellers
Each page shows the questions online sellers ask, what you get back and the honest limits.

Questions from online sellers
Is this allowed by Amazon, Etsy or eBay?
You're asking people for opinions to inform your own decisions, which is different from collecting reviews. Don't use answers as reviews or ratings, and don't contact or reward buyers for reviews. Check each marketplace's own seller rules for anything specific to them.
Can I test two photos at once?
Yes. Today, put both images side by side in one picture and ask "Which would you click?" with two options. Separate images per option are planned.
Can I choose shoppers only, or a certain age group?
Not yet. Each question goes to a mix of verified UK adults. Choosing who answers is planned.
Can I test packaging or a physical product?
Yes, as a photo. People react to what they see, so use the photo a shopper would see.
How many people should I ask?
Twenty is a good default for choosing between two images. Use 50 when the decision matters or the result is close.
Are my product images kept private?
They're shown only to the members answering, without your shop name, and never in a public feed. Hidden metadata is stripped. Don't upload unreleased designs you couldn't show to a stranger yet.
What does it cost?
Free during early access. Later, a quick take is from 30p an answer, plus 50p a question. 20 quick takes come to about £6.50. These are launch examples.
Can I publish the results in my listing?
You can use what you learned, but don't present answers as reviews or testimonials, or suggest the people answering are your customers.
Ask us before you ask them
Not sure your question fits, or whether a marketplace's rules allow it? Ask us first through the help and support form. A real person replies, usually within 2 working days.
