Shopify store feedback from real people
Shopify store feedback can reveal which part of a homepage leaves a small UK pool uncertain. Show a screenshot, ask one trust question and read the reasons before editing the live shop. We aim for first answers within about 15 minutes in UK daytime; replies may be slower for now. PennyForYours is not affiliated with Shopify.

Shopify store feedback questions
Show one shop screenshot and ask what would stop someone trusting it enough to browse further. Start with a question you can act on:
- Example: Willow & Weft asks whether its home-textiles shop looks trustworthy: Yes or Not yet.
- What would you need to know before buying from this store?
- What do you think the store sells from this homepage?
What a trust split can reveal
Illustrative result: In the illustrative Willow & Weft result, 14 of 20 choose Yes and six Not yet. The reasons praise the product photographs but ask about returns and who runs the shop. Put those answers where a visitor can find them, then retest the page. The split is not a measured conversion rate or a review from a buyer.

How to test store screenshots
Capture the homepage or product page as an image; links to live sites are not part of the current quick-take format. Ask one neutral question and choose 5 to 50 verified UK adults. Members answer blind and explain their choice. Read the doubts before changing copy, navigation or the returns information.
The Ask hub covers other formats.
Why outside eyes find trust gaps
A store owner knows the delivery terms and business history. A new visitor sees only what the screen shows. An outside reaction can pinpoint missing trust information, such as returns, contact details or a clear description of the seller.
Honest limit: Members do not browse your live store or complete a checkout. They are not confirmed customers or Shopify shoppers. Their private answers cannot be turned into public reviews, and this service has no Shopify affiliation.

What it costs
Asking is free during early access, by invitation. At paid launch a quick take starts from 30p an answer plus 50p a question (launch example); 20 quick takes would come to about £6.50. You see the quote before asking.
Your questions, answered
How do I get feedback on my Shopify store?
Capture a clear screenshot of the page you want to change and ask one specific question. “Would you trust this shop?” can start the discussion, but the reasons tell you what to fix. Test another screenshot after editing rather than assuming the first result proves the whole store works.
Why are people not buying from my store?
The reason could be traffic, price, fit or trust; a screenshot test cannot diagnose every cause. It may surface missing returns information, unclear delivery terms or a weak description of who runs the business. Compare those reactions with your own analytics and customer messages.
Can testers browse my live store?
Not through the current quick-take format. Members see a screenshot or short text, not a live Shopify page. If you need to study navigation or checkout behaviour, run a dedicated usability test alongside this first-impression check.
Can I use the answers as reviews?
No. These are private opinions from people looking at a screenshot; they are not customer reviews of a purchase. Do not publish the quotes as testimonials or imply that members bought from your shop.
How many people see the store image?
You can choose a pool of 5 to 50 verified UK adults. Twenty offers more reasons to inspect than five, but it is still a small mixed group. The result is directional and cannot stand in for your store’s visitor or customer data.
How much does this test cost?
During invitation-only early access, asking is free. At paid launch, the example rate is 30p per answer plus 50p per question, so 20 answers would be about £6.50. You see the quote before posting. A second check after you edit the shop would need a new question and quote.
