For creators
Which thumbnail would people click? Ask them.
Show verified people in the UK your thumbnail, title, channel art, cover art or design and hear what they'd click, and why, before you publish.
Later from 30p an answer, plus 50p a question (launch example).

Why creators ask before they post
Platform tests are useful, but they run on your live audience and take days. Asking first tells you which versions are worth testing and why one falls flat: the face is too small, the text is unreadable on a phone, it looks like an advert.
You also hear from people who don’t already follow you, which is who a thumbnail has to win. Designers, illustrators, photographers, podcasters and musicians use the same questions for logos, prints, cover art and portfolios.

Rules that protect you
- Opinions only. You can't ask members to subscribe, comment or engage with your channel, or to post reviews.
- People in thumbnails must have agreed to appear.
- A logo check is a gut reaction, not a trade mark clearance. For trade mark questions, speak to a trade mark attorney.
Honest limits
- Images and short text only for now. No video or audio clips yet; use a still frame.
- You can't yet choose people by the channels they watch. Each question goes to a mix of verified UK adults.
How it works
Ask
Write your question, add an image if you need one, and choose how many people answer, from 5 to 50.
Verified people answer blind
They see your question without your name, and nobody sees anyone else’s answer first.

Questions from creators
Can I test two thumbnails at once?
Yes. Put both side by side in one image and ask which people would click. Separate images per option are planned, along with random ordering so left-right position doesn't sway the result.
Can I test audio or video?
Audio, yes: attach a sound clip of up to 90 seconds, or two clips to ask which sounds better, and a person listens to each one before anyone answers. Video isn't supported yet, so use a still frame, the cover art or the title as text.
Will my subscribers see my question?
Only the members picked to answer see it, without your channel name, and there's no public feed. They may recognise your face or style if it's in the image.
Can I ask people to subscribe or comment?
No. Members give opinions; asking them to engage with your channel or post reviews isn't allowed.
Does this replace a platform's own thumbnail testing?
No. Use it to choose which versions go into the live test, and to understand why the others lose.
Is a "does this look like another brand?" answer legal advice?
No. It's a gut reaction from people. For trade mark questions, speak to a trade mark attorney.
How many people should I ask?
Twenty is a good default. Use 50 if the split is close.
What does it cost?
Free during early access. Later, a quick take is from 30p an answer, plus 50p a question. 20 quick takes come to about £6.50. These are launch examples.
