For small businesses

Check it with real people before your customers see it.

A flyer, a menu, an offer, a price or an awkward email. Ask verified people in the UK how it comes across and get honest reactions, usually within minutes. No survey to build, no panel to hire.

Later from 30p an answer, plus 50p a question (launch example).

Why small businesses ask

When you run a small business, the person checking the flyer is usually you, at 11pm. Staff and family are too close, and a chatbot will tell you it’s “clear and professional”.

Twenty strangers will tell you they didn’t spot the opening hours, or that the offer sounds like a catch. Your question is only shown to the people answering it, without your name or business.

Rules that protect you

  • Answers are opinions, never reviews. Presenting them as reviews or testimonials isn't allowed, and fake reviews are unlawful in the UK.
  • Your business name stays out of it. Members see the question, not who asked.

Honest limits

  • People answering live across the UK, not just near you. You can't choose local people yet; that's planned.
  • Opinions, not advice. Expert views, when they open, are opinions from verified professionals, not legal or financial advice.
  • Don't upload customers' names or addresses, or photos of people who haven't agreed to be shown.

How it works

  1. Ask

Write your question, add an image if you need one, and choose how many people answer, from 5 to 50.

  2. Verified people answer blind

They see your question without your name, and nobody sees anyone else’s answer first.

  3. Get a summary and the reasons

See the split, a line of why from each person and a short summary.

Two colleagues side by side at a long table in a bright office, looking at a laptop together and smiling.

Questions from small businesses

All questions, grouped by topic

Do I need to be good with technology?

No. Type your question, add a photo if you have one, choose how many people and press ask. You sign in with a passkey, the same way you unlock your phone.

Can I ask only people near me?

Not yet. Each question goes to a mix of verified UK adults. Choosing by region is planned.

Will my competitors see my question?

Questions go only to the members answering them, without your business name, and never to a public feed. Anyone could be a member, so don't upload anything you'd mind a stranger seeing.

Can I use the answers as reviews?

No. They're opinions to help you decide. Presenting them as reviews or testimonials isn't allowed and fake reviews are unlawful in the UK.

How many people should I ask?

Twenty is a sensible default. Five gives a quick steer if you just want a sense check.

How fast will I hear back?

We aim for first answers within about 15 minutes in UK daytime. You'll see an estimate before you ask; during early access it can take longer.

Can I get an invoice?

During early access there's nothing to pay. How billing works for business askers will be set out before paid questions open.

What does it cost?

Free during early access. Later, a quick take is from 30p an answer, plus 50p a question. 20 quick takes come to about £6.50. These are launch examples.
