A quick survey panel of verified UK people

A survey panel can help settle a small question without commissioning a full questionnaire. Here the online consumer panel serves one micro survey question to 5 to 50 verified UK adults, with a short reason from each. You cannot select ages, regions or interests today. We aim for first answers in about 15 minutes in UK daytime; replies may take longer for now.

Questions for a micro survey

Choose the decision before writing the question. A micro survey works best when a person can answer without a long brief.

  • Example: Which BrightCensus tea would you choose, mint or ginger?
  • What is the first thing you remember about this offer?
  • How clear is this wording, from 1 to 5?

Pick one of two or three options, rate from 1 to 5 or ask for a first impression. Each ask contains one question; linked multi-question surveys are planned for later.

What an online consumer panel returns

Illustrative BrightCensus example: 14 of 20 choose mint; six choose ginger. The short reasons call mint fresh and familiar, while ginger sounds stronger. That gives the team a label direction to investigate, not a sales forecast. Read what people understood before choosing a flavour to produce, and speak to intended customers if the decision depends on their taste.

How the survey panel works

  1. Write one question and add one image if it helps. Text can run to 280 characters; accepted images are PNG, JPEG and WebP.
  2. Choose 5 to 50 UK adults. They do not see your asker profile or earlier votes, though an uploaded image may show your brand.
  3. Read the split or rating, each brief reason and the summary. Look at objections as well as the leading choice.

How PennyForYours works

What a UK consumer panel cannot represent

A consumer panel can expose a confusing label before you print it. People see the same short question, answer in their own words and receive a signed receipt listing the checks their answer passed. That makes each reaction inspectable, even though you never see the person's identity. Read about the checks and their limits.

Honest limit: This is an untargeted group of UK adults, not a representative sample of the country or your buyers. You cannot yet set age, region or interest quotas, and each ask holds one question. Use a specialist research panel for quota samples, multi-question studies or population estimates. Five replies can identify a confusion worth fixing; they cannot tell you how common it is.

What one question costs

Asking is free during early access. At paid launch, a quick take starts from 30p an answer plus 50p a question (launch example). Twenty quick takes would be about £6.50; 50 would be about £15.50. You see the quote before you post.

What is a survey panel?

A survey panel is a pool of people willing to answer research questions. Here, one short question goes to 5 to 50 verified UK adults, and each answer comes with a reason. It can show where a message confuses people. The pool is untargeted, so its split should not be presented as a measure of UK public opinion.

Is there a consumer panel in the UK for quick questions?

Yes. PennyForYours offers one-question quick takes from verified UK adults by invitation during early access. The person sees the question without the asker's identity and explains the choice. If you need several questions or respondents selected to quotas, choose a specialist research provider instead.

Can I choose the age or region of the panel?

No. Age, region and interest targeting are planned, but they are not available today. The current pool is adults in the UK, 18 or over. If a decision depends on a particular postcode, customer segment or age band, this service will not give you that sample yet.

How big is the panel?

You choose 5 to 50 people for a question. That describes the pool for your ask, not the total membership of the service or a representative UK sample. Twenty can give you more reasons to read than five, but it does not make a narrow split statistically decisive.

Is a one-question check market research?

It can be an early research input, but it is limited. A single question to a small, untargeted pool can show confusion or preference worth exploring. It cannot measure national demand, establish statistical significance or replace interviews when you need to understand a complex choice.

What does a quick survey panel cost?

During early access, the one-question check is free. At the example paid-launch rate, 20 reasons cost about £6.50 and 50 about £15.50 (30p per answer plus 50p for the question). Look at the quote before posting. Paying for more replies gives you more individual reasons to read, though it does not turn the untargeted pool into a representative survey.
