Get paid to answer questions that take a minute
Answering is free during early access while we build our founding community. Paid answers start at launch.
To get paid to answer questions here at launch, you would give a first reaction: choose a name, rate a message or say what a homepage seems to offer. No research or specialist advice is expected. Paid answering has not begun, so every answer given now is optional and unpaid.
We review applications by hand.

Answer questions and get paid at launch
A pick and a reason
Example: PicnicNote asks, “Which picnic name fits?” Slow Sunday gets 14 of the 20 example picks; Outside today gets six. A member might say “Slow Sunday sounds like a relaxed afternoon”. The asker can weigh that reason alongside the 14–6 split rather than treating the vote as a verdict. The whole PicnicNote example is fictional.
Other quick takes might ask what a homepage says the company does or which reply sounds more natural. They take about 30 seconds. About 20p for a quick take is the paid-launch example. Paid answers start at launch.
Earn money answering questions: the limits
Earn money answering questions, with no essays
You do not need to research an answer, cite sources or act as an expert. The useful part is your honest reaction. Longer written answers and expert questions are planned for later and are not part of the quick-take service now. Question supply depends on askers, so no amount of income can be promised.
During early access, answering is unpaid. Applying now does not give you a claim to later paid work. You choose whether to answer each question and can skip without penalty.
How to get paid to answer questions at launch
The board shows a question’s topic, estimated time and remaining places. Once paid work opens, it will show the pay as well, before you decide. Choose one, give your own pick and reason, then see the overall count. The asker’s identity and other answers stay hidden until you have made your choice.
Read the member overview to see the application route, and how a quick take is handled for the full sequence.

Money for answering questions takes different forms
Money for answering questions takes different forms
An expert Q&A service pays for specialist knowledge; a survey gathers answers across a questionnaire. Here, the task is a single opinion question with a short reason. Pay is per quick take at paid launch, and you set a minimum. Once you begin a question there is no later eligibility screen, although places may fill before you pick it.
See product feedback questions and other short tasks. The quick earning guide helps if you need an option already paying.
Who can answer
Everyday UK adults, 18 or over, can apply. You need your own words and a genuine opinion, not an AI-generated answer. Specialist advice is a separate planned lane; read the expert page if that interests you. For the current quick takes, see who can answer and how responses are checked.

Your questions, answered
What sites pay you to answer questions?
Some sites pay for surveys, others for expert answers or smaller opinion tasks. Their eligibility and payment rules differ, so check the official terms before taking part. PennyForYours offers short first-reaction questions, but answering is unpaid in early access. Our quick earning guide covers options that may fit an immediate need better.
Can I get paid to answer questions online in the UK?
Yes, there are established paid services for different kinds of questions. PennyForYours plans paid quick takes for UK adults, but no paid-launch date is set. For now, you can apply and answer optional early-access questions without payment; taking part does not earn pay later.
How much do you get per answer?
A quick take would pay about 20p at paid launch (launch example). Paid answers start at launch. You will see the amount before choosing and can set your own minimum. Expert and longer-answer formats are planned to pay more, but the current quick task is a pick or rating with a short reason.
Do I need to be an expert?
No. Current questions ask for ordinary first reactions to names, messages, images and other short prompts. An expert lane is planned for later, with its own rates and rules. For quick takes, the important requirement is to answer honestly in your own words without an AI tool.
Can I answer questions and get paid on my phone?
At paid launch, you can answer in a mobile browser; no separate store app is required. During early access, answering is unpaid. The board and answer screen are designed for phone use. You can open the site when you have time, but there is no promise that a question will always be waiting.
Is pay for answering questions taxable?
It can be once paid questions begin. HMRC’s trading-allowance guidance explains how qualifying earnings from several activities are considered together; our trading allowance guide walks through the rule. This is general information, not tax advice.
When do paid questions open?
There is no announced date. During early access, answering is unpaid, and taking part does not secure later work. Founding members will hear when paid questions are ready. The board will show pay before you choose a question at launch.
